About the event

Arbor Vitae , from 15 to 24 November in the Casermetta Santa Croce sulla Mura in Lucca, curated by six international artists from the Anima Mundi Pax Collective , an art exhibition that celebrates nature and National Tree Day (21 November).

Our habitat is the life force that unites us, the natural family to which we all belong and in which we seek peace and harmony, internal and external. The artists on display, united by this vocation, propose individual interpretations of immersion in nature, creating moments of introspection and fusion in the environment with different artistic techniques.

The role of Japan in European art and demonstration of classical Japanese ink painting techniques (sumi-e) , curated by Francesca Arcidiaco, painter and expert in oriental culture, scheduled for Thursday 16 November at 11:00 (meeting in Italian and English).

Iconochrome. In the image we are all blind , performance by experimental director Gianmarco Donaggio; an audiovisual and multisensory experience in which the artist explores the world through optics created by him, bringing to light unsuspected possibilities of vision, scheduled for Saturday 18 November at 6.00 pm (duration 30 minutes).

The exhibition can be visited every day from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. Inauguration on Wednesday 15 November at 6pm.
